Using a pattern from the Triangle Frenzy collection, each student will work to create either a Christmas tree skirt (as shown in the picture) or a table topper (exact same triangles, just arranged differently). This class does require a sewing machine and some foundational quilting skills. It is important to have an accurate 1/4" seam allowance and to have some experience in working with fabric because triangles are always a bit tricky due to bias grain.
We will have 2 class sessions -- Tuesday, October 6th, at 5:30-9:30pm, and Tuesday, October 13th, at 5:30-9:30pm.
Registration covers the pattern, the required amount of fabric and batting, and 1 12 1/2-inch 60-degree equilateral triangle ruler, plus the teaching. Students need to provide their own sewing machine, rotary cutter, large cutting mat (18"x24" minimum), 6" x 24" ruler, and basic sewing supplies. Please contact the shop if you are in need of any assistance in getting those supplies.
